FRIENDS in sickness as in good health….

The past ten days have been a revelation.
Most of u know that i have been sick like hell recently… but maybe what u dont know is WHAT made me regain my health and stand on my feet apart from the antibiotics… i will talk about that… or shud i say THEM?

Hmm first a few words about how it all started… just like one of the umpteen throat infections i have had…which respond to ciprofloxacin…only this one did not… it was soon accompanied by a fever (104 degrees at times) and that is about the time i lost track of what was happening to me….. incidentaly many things were happening.. an eye infection which spread to the face.. a viral fever…and a raging UTI…. all this at the same time… it was a party guys…only i was not invited…and was being eaten alive…..

OK, all of us have seen F.R.I.E.N.D.S amidst all the fun that these characters have…they remember to be there for each other in tough times…. it was a tough time for me… and boy did my lot stick around me…. you can always assume that your friends will stick it out wid u in d tough times…. believe me guys..its a diff feeling when this actually happens and u bear witness to it.

I will not take any names here because i think that a person who offered his/her bike for taking me to the doctor did a job equal in importance to the person who cooked food for me…. there were many and i take this occasion ..not to thank them (they will kill me if i do that) but to let them know…that i feel privileged to have friends like YOU. a few lines crop up in my mind from an old hindi song..

Ehsaan mere dil pe tumhara hai doston..
Yeh dil tumhare pyaar ka mara hai doston..
